Moon and Lights Festival

deafPLUS in Whitechapel are holding a Moon and Lights Festival on Saturday the 15th November from 6pm to 10.30pm. This will be held at the Brady Arts Centre in Whitechapel, East London. Click here to download a flier advertising this event.

Wednesday 7th May 2008, Southern Grove, 40 – 50 Southern Grove, London, E3 4PX

Our Mobile Advisory Service (MAS) Van will be parked outside Southern Grove for the day from 9am. The MAS vehicle provides information on Tinnitus, Welfare Benefits, Equipment for deaf and hard of hearing people and Basic care and maintenance of hearing aids.

Thursday 8th May 2008, Bow Ideas Store, 1 Gladstone Place, Roman Road, Bow, London, E3 5ES

From 9:00am deafPLUS will be at the Idea Store in Bow providing information and advice about our services in Tower Hamlets. Joining us for the day will be Julie Simms, Hearing Therapist from Royal London Audiology Department to give advice on coping with Tinnitus. Plus Hidden Hearing will be offering free hearing screening throughout the morning.

Friday 9th May 2008, Anchorage House, East India Dock, 2 Clove Crescent, London, E14 2BE

For the whole day, deafPLUS will be providing an information stall in the reception area of Anchorage House. Staff will be on hand with any queries relating to deafness and hearing loss. There will be some basic British Sign Language lessons for those interested in learning to sign!
