Hampshire:
In Hampshire, deafPLUS works closely with Hampshire County Council’s ‘Early Intervention Service’ managed by a team of Communication Rehabilitation Officers. We visit a variety of venues across the county (timetable subject to change, please contact the South office for details).
Clients can try out equipment, take away catalogues and factsheets, receive up to date information on lip reading classes, deaf clubs, hard of hearing groups and other support services in their area and much more!
We make referrals to the Early Intervention Service for clients who may benefit from additional support and who may qualify for equipment from the service free of charge.
Anyone can visit the van at any location without a referral from the Early Intervention Service, and if you are worried about any aspect of your hearing and we will do our best to help or signpost you to the relevant person or organisation best suited to help you.
Surrey:
