Neelma working hard!

Neelma provides advice and advocacy to deaf
people who live in Tower Hamlets.
Neelma is an advocate for Deaf and hard of hearing people with several years experience in this field.
See her if you need to make a benefits claim, want advice on welfare rights or want to discuss services provided by the Council of the health authority.
Neelma works Mondays to Thursdays 10am to 2pm, but is available only for appointments on Mondays and you can see her at other times during our drop-in hours.
Naima Boukriss provides commuinication support to Neelma.

Maria arranges support, learning and social programmes for Deaf and hard of hearing people from all backgrounds.
In addition Maria is an advocate for Deaf and hard of hearing people. See her if you need to make a benefits claim, want advice on welfare rights or want to discuss services provided by the Council of the health authority.
Maria works 25 hours a week Mondays to Fridays except Wednesdays.

Lucky coordinates our Deaf Club every Friday afternoon where people play pool or chat, or even go away for the afternoon.
She works 2pm to 7pm on Fridays.

Clare
|
Clare helps Deaf and hard of hearing people living in Tower Hamlets to find employment. Rebecca Mansell and Tracy Rose provide assistance to Clare.
Also Clare organises training courses at Whitechapel in:
- Job Preparation
- Maths and English
- Interview Skills
- Computers (IT)
So if you want to get a job, and also live in Tower Hamlets, make an appointment to see Clare!

Employment Support
The Tower Hamlets Centre provides an empoyment service for Deaf and had of hearing residents of Tower Hamlets
Clare Davies is the Employment Advisor, with communication support provided by Tracy Rose. The service is managed by Rebecca Mansell
Asian Deaf Service
Lucky provides information and advocacy support to Asian deaf people, and also she organises group learning sessions and social events.
Deaf Club
We have Deaf club every Friday afternoon between 2 and 6pm
Come and play pool and join us for tea and coffee. Chat with friends too!
